The performance is, in a way, sensory, but dramatic and very relevant. "Ridiculous Darkness" deals with issues of post-colonial society and social otherness in relation to the Western Eurocentric discourse. It is particularly important that this text is being performed in Serbia today. Wolfram Lotz self-ironically and self-reflectively constantly comments on his dominant position in relation to all phenomena of social otherness that he observes from a Eurocentric position, but within that play, he actually addresses issues of the Middle East, Somalia, and Serbia.
