We adapted an ancient comedy about a sex strike by women into an analysis of power dynamics within the romantic relationship of a heterosexual couple, which spills over into an image of power positions within the entire community as a basis, a political paradigm. The phenomenon of the power couple serves as a model for exploring the (in)equality of partner relationships in desires for power, capital, position, and autocracy in every sense. The original narrative is thus supplemented and adapted through montage techniques and appropriation of related materials. The constructed text emerged as our commentary on Aristophanes' original dramatic text. The primary language of the performance explores the connection between verbal text and semantic fields that can be conveyed through the performers' bodily activity.
